Our client are look to appoint a Service Validation and Testing (SV&T) Manager to support a major UK Government programme from our location in central London.

THE ROLE

The Service Validation and Testing (SV&T) process owner is accountable for the SV&T process and is responsible for managing compliance and identifying improvements to ensure that the process continues to be effective and efficient.

The SV&T process owner also acts as the Account Test Manager defining and assuring test documentation for all Suppliers.

WHO DO WE NEED?

Essential Skills and Experience:

·         Experience in the implementation of SV&T processes and tools including Test Model Definition, Release Component Acquisition, Release Test, and Service Acceptance

·         Demonstrable experience of working across the Systems Engineering lifecycle, influencing test activities and regimes

·         Strong track record in Service Management

·         Strong conflict resolution skills

·         Provides clear direction and sets clear expectations to enable success

·         Experience handling difficult conversations

·         Ability to chair and manage governance meetings with senior staff

·         Holds people accountable for their commitments

·         Ability to drive remedial actions and service improvement initiatives

·         Ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment

·         Enthusiastic self-starter with good communication skills

·         Excellent written communication through the use of e-mail & formal reports

·         Exceptional verbal skills

·         Builds strong professional relationships with ability to get buy-in “inclusive”

·         Previous experience in a Tower model or managed multiple suppliers

·         Management experience

Typical Minimum Education & Experience

·         ITIL Foundation Certified

·         Previous experience as a Process Owner overseeing Test activities

·         SME knowledge of one or more of the ITIL processes
