Our client provides cutting edge science and technology solutions into crucial industries such as defence, intelligence and healthcare, and as such they have built strong teams across their various locations in the UK who are working hard to support vital missions and solve the world’s toughest problems.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Service Desk Analyst to join their team based from their office in Farnborough.


The Role:

You will provide first and second line technical support on a global scale. Using your exceptional communication skills, you will deal with a range of requests and problems. You will undertake analysis, diagnosis and proactively drive incidents through to effective resolution.


We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Analyst, who is passionate about problem solving and has exceptional communication skills.

You will have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms including cloud based services, WAN and LAN hardware and basic configuration
  • Demonstrate and understanding of ITIL processes and their importance in a support environment with specific consideration for incident, problem, request, change and release management
  • Experience of Virtualisation (e.g. VMware, MS Hyper-V) and Enterprise Storage (e.g. Netapp, Dell Compellent).

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Qualifications – Microsoft MTA or MCSA; Juniper; and Dell
