Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team based in London.

The Role:  

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be based in our London office and will provide Infrastructure expertise in Microsoft Windows Server Environments, Virtualized Environments, Networking principals and Virtual and Physical SAN Technologies.  You will be expected to design, assure and implement solutions utilizing a multitude of technologies, including best in breed, tried and tested and new to market.

Role Requirements:

  • Provide support and maintenance support to the day-to-day management of the Environments
  • Assist in the Identification of Infrastructure issues with tactical and strategic remediation
  • Have a proactive and positive attitude to support changes to the Programme
  • Provide detailed technical documentation as required (High Level and Low Level Designs)
  • Have good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Have experience in server hardening policies security
  • Have the ability to translate technical issues to user friendly language
  • Be an excellent Team Player
  • Functional/Professional Requirements:
  • Proven and demonstrable experience with MS Server 2008/2012/2016 Technologies
  • System Center Suite 2012
  • Powershell Scripting Experience
  • Providing advice and guidance to users
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • VMWare/ESXi
  • Experiencing working with a cloud provider
  • Proven experience and ability to work in a dynamic Technical Delivery environment with an ability to gain an understanding of a fast moving technical programme

You will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must have the right to work in the UK with at least five years’ traceable work history in the UK.
