Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team based from their office in Leeds.

 

The Role:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in deploying and maintaining mission critical environments. Supporting agile development teams through scripting techniques and DevOps tooling, to automate and innovate in line with customer non functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer, who is passionate about what they do, who can also help shape DevOps practice in the working environment.

You will have:

  • Strong Experience of Puppet, Chef or other configuration management software
  • Excellent skill in scripting such as Python or Powershell
  • Knowledge and experience of analytical/metrics tools such as Spluk, Sensu
  • Experience of deployment and management of Linux and MS Windows environments
  • General Infrastructure networking knowledge and skills
  • Good Infrastructure security knowledge and skills 
  • Knowledge and experience of working with source control such as GIT

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Experience of Soap and Rest API protocols
  • Agile team development experience
