SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join a Global company providing professional marketing insights.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for Sales Manager to join their team based in Central London.

The Role:

The Sales Manager will sell and renew subscription-based products to customers in the Healthcare and Academic sectors throughout the territory, Dach, Germany.

This will include initiating, maintaining and expanding relationships with new and strategically-important high-value customers. The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving a set of agreed objectives around new business, customer retention, revenue growth, and risk management. They will focus on selling to the Dach market.

The predominant measure of success for the Sales Manager will be the annual achievement of their new business target and ensuring the renewal and growth of existing subscribers.

The key activities will be:

  • Deliver the sales of relevant products throughout the territory
  • Manage the Agent relationship
  • Renew and grow existing subscribers
  • Ensure the yield achieved aligns with budget, and Product team expectations
  • Identify major customers (new and existing), establish customer’s needs, and deliver positioning to differentiate subscription products in the most effect way to secure sales
  • Prepare and implement the annual sales plan for the territory
  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with target major customers (new and existing) throughout the territory. The expectation is that these relationships will be built at a senior level.
  • Proactively lead an account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, KPIs, financial targets, and critical milestones for all target customers
  • Provide revenue, customer, market updates monthly
  • Provide an activity update monthly
  • Report to the business on customer needs and market problems


Role Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years sales and business experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of selling subscription-based products to senior staff within the Healthcare and Academic sectors
  • Strong sales skills - ability to identify the key prospects, write proposals, sell the benefits, resolve concerns, and close the sale
  • Demonstrable experience of using SalesForce to effectively manage customers and opportunities
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to present to large groups and operate at ‘C’ level
  • Experience of selling in the DACH market
