Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for an experienced Remedy Engineer to join their team based from their office in Central London.

The Role:  

A number of opportunities exist for BMC Remedy Developers, including General Remedy Developers, BPPM Developer, ADDM Developer and APM Developer. 

Duties include:

  • Capture and compile technical requirements for business systems
  • Build systems based upon functional and technical requirements
  • Deploy systems into live service
  • Maintain existing business system including code maintenance, enhancement and reconciliation
  • 3rd Line support for ITSM application and servers and resolution of incidents I the queue
  • Create the Low-Level Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain solution components that are part of or interface to the core BMC Remedy 7.x/8.x ITSM
  • Create installation guides and standard operating procedures for Remedy and related components
  • Map solution features to business requirements and collaborate with the service process owners to ensure acceptance of the resulting solution
  • Perform analyses and make recommendations for integration solutions and system enhancements to Remedy and related components 
  • Responsible for administering the BPPM solution
  • Responsible for administering the ADDM solution
  • Will require flexibility with regards to operational demands to work out of hours (OOH).

You will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must have the right to work in the UK with at least five years’ traceable work history in the UK.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining solutions in the BMC Remedy 7.x/8.x ITSM
  • Experience building configuring tools using out-of-the-box options and building custom solutions
  • Experience building integrated solutions across diverse products and from multiple suppliers
  • Experience supporting and resolving ITSM module issues
  • Familiar with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations
  • Experience administering BPPM and knowledge of integration with the Remedy ITSM
  • Experience administering ADDM and knowledge of integration with the Atrium CMDB
  • Experience working with Service Now

Desired Skills:

  • Experience integrating with Active Directory, including federated authentication and Single Sign-On
  • Experience working in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 environment
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with VMware or other virtualised environments
  • Experience working in a community cloud environment
  • Experience working with SCORCH
  • Experience working with Atrium integrator
