Our client provides cutting edge science and technology solutions into public sector clients and as such they have built strong teams across their various locations in the UK who are working hard to support vital missions and solve the world’s toughest problems.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for a Project Coordinator to assist with an Office 365 roll-out project.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling project queries.

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator will include:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

Skills/experience required for Project Coordinator role:

  • Proven work experience as an IT Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Previous experience of an Office 365 roll-out would be ideal however not essential 
  • Strong administration skills including Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Strong stakeholder management, client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Diary management experience
