SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join of a multi-national market leader in IT Consulting and Managed Services. 

Our client provides cutting edge science and technology solutions into crucial industries such as defence, intelligence and healthcare, and as such they have built strong teams across their various locations in the UK who are working hard to support vital missions and solve the world’s toughest problems.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Oracle Application Developer to join their team based from one of their offices in Hampshire on a permanent basis.

The Role:  

You will be working with a large existing team delivering a crucial project for a key client within the Defence space, owning projects from end-to-end. 

You will develop, support and maintain Oracle E-Business projects according to stakeholder requirements, investigating problems and carrying out analysis and design of these requirements.  You will code, unit test and document changes as well as managing the deployment of these changes into both test and live environments. 

You will also participate in peer-review activities including code quality checks and will train and mentor more junior members of the team. 

You will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must be British Citizens who have at least five years’ traceable, uninterrupted work history in the UK.

Role Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Oracle Application Developer with specialist skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
  • Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
  • Oracle E-Business Suite
  • SQL and PL/SQL programming skills
  • Oracle Forms and Reports
  • Knowledge of the full Oracle development lifecycle including testing
  • Converting functional requirements into technical specifications

Again, you will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must be British Citizens who have at least five years’ traceable, uninterrupted work history in the UK.
