The Organisation:

SceneOne have been engaged by a dynamic and forward-thinking IT services and consultancy organisation who focus on putting the customer first and always delivering quality solutions which truly fit the business needs they were designed for. 

Due to exceptional growth they are looking for an experienced Lead .Net Developer to be based from their head office in County Durham.  

The Role: 

You will take a pivotal role in defining and delivering complex bespoke development projects to the highest standard, always with a key focus on adding value and building a strong relationship with the client.

You will organise and support junior members of project delivery teams , and will actively seek knowledge on nee technologies in the market and ultimately influence and drive the adoption of these technologies across the team.

You will be responsible for engaging with clients to gain a full understanding of the business’ needs and designing and delivering solutions which meet these needs. 

You will also be expected to contribute from time to time on the business’ service desk for applications they have created.

As you will be working closely with clients, flexibility for travel is required and you must hold a full UK driving licence.

The Person:

In order to be successful in this role you will need to be a clear and confident communicator with an enthusiasm for creating client-focused solutions.  Experience in the following areas is essential:

  • Designing and developing solutions using .Net, C# and Javascript
  • Mentoring, leading and developing team members
  • Requirement gathering and stakeholder management/engagement
  • Excellent customer service
  • A passion for continually developing your career and adopting new technologies

As well as the above, experience in the following areas would also be desirable:

  • Continuous delivery and automated deployment
  • Wider knowledge of other technology areas such as Sharepoint, systems integration, cloud technologies etc.
  • Successfully leading a software product team
  • Experience in a consultancy environment
