As part of this global transformation, my client is looking for a Senior Javascript Developer who is passionate about the User Interface to join their growing team based in Glasgow. 

The Role:  

You will work closely with key technology teams across the globe to develop both new and existing solutions with a focus on creating clear, robust and innovative User Interfaces for products across the business. 

You will take ownership of key initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, gathering requirements and hands-on developing key front-end focused solutions using web technologies such as HTML5 and Javascript.

Role Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Senior Javascript Developer.

You will have demonstrable experience in the following areas:

  • Strong front-end development skills using Javascript and HTML5
  • Experience developing intuitive UI solutions
  • Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle, including experience in analysis and design
  • Experience working closely with Business Analysts, UX, Testers and other business stakeholders
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience of Java programming would be beneficial
  • Agile methodology and the concept of a “T-Shaped Developer”
