Due to an aggressive growth plan for the UK market in 2018/19, several acquisitions and the onboarding of new and exciting clients, they are looking to add a skilled Java/DevOps Developer to join their growing office in London. 

The Role:

You will be working as part of a large existing team based in London who are working with an exciting client on their centralised documentation system in an agile environment.  This project is part of a multi-year digital transformation project, but you will also gain exposure to other clients and projects as your career grows within the business.

You will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders building strong relationships, working consultatively so suggest new ideas, and deliver high quality solutions within the digital strategy. 

Role Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Java Developer with experience of working in a DevOps environment, and will knowledge in the following areas:

  • Java Development (Spring)
  • DevOps tools
  • Automating deployments into containers using Docker
  • Test automation
  • Application servers (Websphere, WildFly etc)
  • Websphere BP (Business Process Manager)
  • Message brokers (IBM-MQ, RabbitMQ)
  • ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
  • Linux
  • Schedulers (Berlin Scheduler etc)
  • AWS
  • Application monitoring
  • Agile working
  • Knowledge of the Digital Service Standard is advantageous
