SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join a multi-national market leading organisation looking to replicate their global success in IT Services Public Sector in the UK. 

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for graduate and/or experienced Java Developers from up to Lead Developer to join their new team based in Leeds.

You will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must have the right to work in the UK with at least five years’ traceable work history in the UK.

Role Requirements:

The following skills are essential:

  • Java
  • Work in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle including design and analysis
  • Experience of working with toolsets such as JIRA, Subversion, Team City and Confluence

The following skills and experience would also be an advantage:

  • MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • HTML, PHP, JavaScript, AngularJS
  • Spring, Hibernate, Maven
  • Ansible, Puppet, Docker
  • Experience working within the public sector such as healthcare or transport

The Package:

A competitive basic salary of £25,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience, with extensive learning, development and progression opportunities and a generous benefits package.
