ERP Principal Consultant/Data Architect (HR)

SceneOne's client, a multi-national IT consultancy, are urgently seeking an ERP Principal Consultant/Data Architect (HR) with extensive HR ERP module implementation and migration experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards etc.), to be part a project team working for a high profile public sector client.

Responsibilities of the ERP Principal Consultant/Data Architect (HR):

  • Identify the broad master (entity) data sources for the people (HR), finance, estate and transport and logistics departments
  • Conduct an initial data quality assessment
  • Develop the broad data quality management approach for the ERP programme knowing fully well that the ERP product is not yet selected
  • Conduct detailed data quality and fit-gap for the future master data of HR department
  • Work with the process owners and the systems team to clean the existing data to the extent it can be done, before the ERP product selection
  • Work with the process owners to gather additional information with view to bridging identified gap  
  • Establish the technical feasibility of data extraction and cleaning from the existing legacy systems specially the systems used by the HR department

Skills & experience required for the ERP Principal Consultant/Data Architect (HR):

  • Good knowledge of one or more ERP products e.g. SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards
  • Strong experience as an ERP Principal Consultant/Data Architect with implementation and migration in HR modules
  • Solid understanding of master data and entity relationships around HR modules of one or more ERP products
  • Broad understanding of entity and master data definitions across all modules of at least one Tier 1 ERP
  • Previous experience of working on data quality management and migration planning throughout the implementation cycle for at least two ERP implementation covering HR modules (including HR, learning and development and payroll modules at least)
  • Hands-on experience of assessing technical data migration approaches and challenges associated with the legacy system architecture and design
  • Proficient in the use of Visio, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong written communication skills

N.B. Security Clearance - Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate should be eligible for and willing to undergo security clearance to NPPV3 level with SC
