SceneOne’s client, leaders in supporting Oracle, Microsoft and AWS technologies, are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with a specific focus on Ansible, to work as part of a team for a high profile public sector project.

Key skills & experience required for the DevOps Engineer (Ansible) role:

•    Minimum of two years in Automation and Deployment experience with Ansible
•    Experience with Ansible, creating your own modules and executing Runbooks and be comfortable editing YAML files
•    Experience implementing, supporting and administering Linux environments - Red Hat 
•    Experience or familiar with building solutions to meet the Digital Service Standard
•    Exposure to AWS & Openshift technologies
•    Experience of working in multi-disciplinary Agile Development teams
•    Exposure to automating deployments into containers
•    Proven experience of translating Project build activities into an automated deployment
•    Good understanding of scripting languages with an ability to write custom scripts to perform system deployment across various technologies
•    Numerous demonstrated automated system and application deployments
•    Experience of ITIL including proactive problem management and root cause analysis
