Data Warehouse Officer - Wimbledon

SceneOne's client have a contract requirement for a Data Warehouse Officer to work with a large NHS trust in south London.

Role Objectives:

  • Maintain and enhance existing SSIS packages

  • Maintain and enhance existing SSRS reports

  • Pick up new data warehouse developments requiring SSIS and TSQL Procedures

  • Monitor the daily load process and carry out fault finding and fault resolution duties

  • Provide database expertise and advice to the analysts in the Information Team

  • Perform database/query tuning as required

Expected Outcome:

  • Provide support for issues relating to RiO & QMH systems

  • Essential new development work picked up and progressed

  • Reduce to a minimum the impact on our customers the effects of the Tech Team having several full-time posts empty

Technical skills required:

  • SQL Server 2008 R2
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience of data warehouse ETL processes
  • NHS Datasets
  • Awareness of NHS financial/reporting demands (e.g. SUS and SLAM)
