My client, a consultancy who specialise in services to the health and social care sector, are seeking an experienced Data Quality Income Specialist for a long-term project in South London.

The purpose of the role is to provide specialised knowledge and consultancy and advice to Trust staff covering data and to lead, manage and operate an effective income recovery service to ensure the Trust incurs the appropriate income against service provided.

Responsibilities of the Data Quality Income Specialist role:

  • Support and provide assistance to Contracts, finance and the various income and data quality teams across the Trust
  • Work with SLAM and Business Intelligence teams to deliver the appropriate income
  • Work flexibly and adapt to changing work requirements and able to plan, coordinate and organise own and team workload
  • Advising Trust on income and income generation matters
  • Support and resolve issues in the current data quality issues log
  • Be responsible for analysing data and issues with a view to getting same resolved effectively
  • Creating and modifying positions within CIS
  • Escalate issues to the Head of Information management appropriately

Skills and experience required for the Data Quality Income Specialist role: 

  • In depth knowledge and experience of Payment by Results process
  • Extensive knowledge of acute Trusts operational practices
  • Excellent analytical skills and decision-making skills
  • Established leadership and management skills
