 SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join a new Global IT client which has been named by LinkedIn as a ‘Top Attractor’ of the best talent in the UK market. 

Due to continued growth, we looking for a Data Analytics Platform Architect to join my client on a permanent basis in Leeds This is a senior role which requires you to work closely with the client, project and service delivery management teams. 



You will work closely with the Practice Lead, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to form an integral part of the team. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Architect complex data analytics platforms and integration solutions to securely collect, store, anonymise (where required), and manage data collected from multiple sources to create an integrated platform for analytics.
  • Lead technical definition of complete platform solutions covering the lifecycle from CONOPS, to requirements development, technical planning, system integration, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation, design, build, cost , deploy, and sustainment.
  • Produces technical roadmaps that advance the technical baseline and address both the technical and the business factors.
  • Collaborate with customer on solution options and recommendations
  • Support creation of Project Plan, identification of Risks, and generation of Risk Mitigation Plans
  • Technical lead of implementation team


You will have the following skills:

  • Experience of architecture and implementing large scale data integration and data lake solutions
  • Experience with technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and AWS
  • Experience integrating big data solutions with enterprise services such as identity management. 
  • Experience architecting solution  on integrating COTS and Open Source products
  • Experience with Redhat Linux and Java based solutions
  • Experience with “hands on” implementation of big data solutions
