SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join a multi-national, award-winning IT Consultancy with an aggressive growth plan for the UK market in 2018/19.  They service into both the private and public sector on crucial, cutting edge technology projects. 

Due to the continued success and growth of their UK operations and the onboarding of new and exciting clients, they are looking to add a skilled Data Analytics / Business Intelligence Consultant to join their growing office in London. 

The Role:

You will join an existing team based from the London office who are delivering transformative Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions and services for key clients across both the private and public sector. 

You will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders building strong relationships, getting buy-in for solutions and deployments, and delivering high quality Data Analytics solutions. 

  You will use your deep technical skills to implement data ingestion and transformation projects for large scale organisations, and will work with a variety of technologies including business intelligence platforms, open source technologies and Azure services. 


  • Designing and implementing business intelligence technical solutions.
  • Data modelling and data architecture design and implementation.
  • Analysis of requirements and production of specifications and reports.
  • Documentation of solution (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup etc.).
  • Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology,
  • Engaging with the customers to identify POCs and new insights to bring value to the business
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively within a high performance team.

Role Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Data Analytics Consultant with experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a BI and Analytics role across a range of technologies including:
    • PowerBI
    • QlikView
    • Tableau
    • Looker
    • Azure Analytics WorkBench
    • Apache Sparks
    • R
    • Python
    • Data Iku
  • Business intelligence tools, data modelling, data staging and data extraction processes
  • Machine learning tools and techniques
  • Multi-dimensional design, star schemas, facts and dimensions
  • Logical and physical data warehouse database design and performance optimisation
