Our client provides cutting edge science and technology solutions into crucial industries such as defense, intelligence and healthcare, and as such they have built strong teams across their various locations in the UK who are working hard to support vital missions and solve the world’s toughest problems.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join their team based from their office in Leeds.

The Role:  

You will join an existing team of passionate Business Analysts who work collaboratively to formulate and implement business and IT strategies for clients across various sectors. You will have crucial involvement in the process of designing and delivering business and information solutions to support the clients’ accomplishment of their business goals.

You will work on projects focused around both delivery and transformation.

You will be required to undergo Security Clearance, so all candidates must have the right to work in the UK with at least five years’ traceable work history in the UK.

Role Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you will have several years of experience working within a Business Analyst role and working closely with technology teams, ideally for a technology organisation. 

You will have the following experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to explain complex technical solutions in a business context
  • Involvement in the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working in both traditional and agile environments, with use of Themes, Epics, Stories etc.
  • Requirement gathering, workshop facilitation and prioritisation
  • Documentation of user stories, 'as is' software flows, 'to be' flows, story boards and high level wire-frames
  • Functional/Non-functional requirements capture
  • Data modelling
  • Broad understanding of technical detail

The Package:

A competitive basic salary of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience, with extensive learning, development and progression opportunities and a generous benefits package.
