SceneOne's client, a multi-national IT consultancy, are seeking talented individuals for DevOps engineer opportunities to be part an AWS migration team working on a high profile public sector project.

The DevOps Engineer should have extensive experience working on the AWS platform and supporting similar migration project in the past.

The AWS DevOps Engineer should have following skills and experience:

  • Significant experience in administering RHEL Linux systems.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining production systems within the AWS ecosystem using products such as EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, AG, Route 53 etc.
  • Expertise using Puppet would be a distinct advantage however other DevOps tools will be considered
  • Expertise in provisioning infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Thorough understanding of configuration management concept.
  • Strong programming and scripting fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts.
  • Ideally the engineer should have an AWS associate level certification and experience of security sensitive systems would be highly desirable.
