SceneOne has an exciting opportunity to join of a multi-national market leader in IT Consulting Services, working with Public Sector customers to deliver first-class solutions to improve outcomes for citizens, and ensure cost savings and increased efficiencies for Public Sector organisations.

Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking for experienced Automation Testers to join their team based in the Leeds office. 

You must be eligible to gain SC clearance for this role.

The Role:

As an Automation Tester, you will be involved throughout the development lifecycle of the development team with particular responsibility in the quality assurance of software development and deployment with emphasis on development and implementation of test automation.

The Profile:

You will have:

  • Experience as a software tester / developer in test with a good appreciation of test automation
  • Passionate about code quality and advocate of clean code principles
  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with common test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber or Serenity, Continuous Integration tools (such as Jenkins, Hudson, Stash, github)
  • Experience of testing UI and webservices based systems including end to end and/or in isolation using mocks.
  • Experience with very large datasets and appreciation of data isolation in a multi-tenanted SAAS platform.
  • Experience with at least one database desirable. Ability to write and maintain SQL insert, update and delete statements
  • Experience using test management tools for planning, execution and reporting (eg; JIRA)
  • Working knowledge of cloud environments especially AWS and automated infrastructure important.
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM
