SceneOne's client, a multinational IT consultancy, are looking for an Automation Test Architect to join their team in Exeter working on a large high-profile public-sector project.

Responsibilities for the Automation Test Architect include:

  • Driving the designing and execution of an end to end test strategy.
  • Designing and implementing a sustainable and reusable testing framework, suitable for cloud environments.
  • Designing testing solutions to seamlessly integrate into Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  • Handling and management of test data from disparate sources.
  • Advising customers on best practices and able to challenge all levels of stakeholders to ensure correct implementation.

Skills & experience required for the Automation Test Architect role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role covering end to end test design, execution, strategy, implementation and sustainability.
  • Experience of automation test architecture within a cloud environment i.e. AWS and/or Azure
  • Experience of Selenium, Cucumber and BDD  
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
