Our clients have to feel secure in the knowledge that their contract staff are happy, and for our part we need to ensure that our contractors are 100% focused on the job in hand rather than worrying about any administrative or financial distractions.

After all, a contented worker is a productive worker. Needless to say, the same standards of excellence found in our permanent division are mirrored in our contract consultants who share the same on-going training and career progression programme.

Our retained search option offers complete, full-service with a dedicated project team assigned to your search until it is completed. Our retained search option is used at all levels where there is a need that must be filled in a short period of time. The terms and conditions of our retained search are:
The service charge for this option is one third of the first year's total gross taxable remuneration. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a flat fee of £2000 will be included in the Overview fee payable to SceneOne.
Where more commitment is required than a contingency search but a full retainer cannot be justified, the payment of an engagement fee covers set up costs and limits exposure for both parties. The fee payable is one third of the first year's total gross taxable remuneration. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a fee of £2000 will be included in the Overview fee payable to SceneOne. A non-refundable engagement fee of 20% of the projected fee is due upon commencement. This will be deducted from the final invoice on offer and acceptance.
When your needs are for multiple candidates in the same profile, our project search is your guaranteed option. A project team is selected to handle all openings simultaneously, ensuring quality control standards that are unsurpassed as well as deadlines in delivering a number of candidates within your time-frame. The terms and conditions of project search are based on the difficulty of the search, the availability of candidates, the time required for the process and the number of positions.
In certain circumstances advertised search makes good sense, particularly when a large number of applicants spread over a wide geographic area need to be surfaced very quickly or the brief is of a wide ranging nature making identification of suitable candidates unduly difficult. We will plan, create and implement an advertising campaign in line with your brief. Simultaneously we will conduct a search against the brief, thus maximising the effectiveness of the exercise. Terms and conditions of advertised assignments are available on request.
The service charge for this option is 25% of the first year's total gross taxable remuneration. Where the Client provides a vehicle to the candidate a fee of £2000 will be included in the Overview fee payable to SceneOne. Media and any associated production costs will be recovered at cost.
Contingency search may be used for ongoing openings that are not urgent in nature. Many clients select this option when a critical need does not exist, but utilisation for a particular profile is constant. No exclusivity of candidate is offered with this search method.
